Uploading custom recordings

Broadsoft provides the ability to upload recording for use in your auto attendant(s) and personal greeting(s). The document below provides instruction on how to create quality recording for use in Broadsoft.

Advanced Sound Recording Guide

Once you have successfuly created your recording(s), please follow the instructions below to upload and activate them with Broadsoft.

Auto Attendant requires Group-level permissions

• Log into Broadsoft
• Click on "Groups"
• Click on "Search"
• Click on "Edit" beside the group containing the Auto Attendant
• Click on "Services"
• Click on "Auto Attendant"
• Click on "Business Hours" or "After Hours", depending on which recording you're trying to update
• Select "Personal Greeting" button and use the "Browse" button to select the correct file

Personal Greetings

• Log into Broadsoft
• Click on "User"
• Click on "Search"
• Click on "Edit" beside the appropriate user
• Click on "Messaging"
• Click on "Greetings"
• Select "Personal Greeting" button for the corresponding greeting you wish to upload
• Select "Browse" to upload your custom greeting
