Porting a number tied to DSL

Twist Networks can port your existing telephone number used on your Digital Subscriber Line (DSL). However, special consideration must be made when porting a number in use on an active DSL connection. If the donor carrier approves a port on a number tied to an active DSL line, the DSL connection may drop. To prevent interruption of service, it is recommended that you first install new DSL service alongside your existing connection before initiating the port. Also, be sure the port has completed before cancelling either DSL line. If you cancel service before the port has completed, your DSL number will be lost.
