Local Number Portability (LNP) Considerations

Twist Networks has the ability to assign telephone numbers out of most PSTN Central Offices, however there are some rare instances where Twist Networks is unable to port numbers to our networks. Please contact your account representative to determine if a specific number (or group of numbers) can be ported to our network.

As with traditional number ports, a Letter of Agency (or Authorization) may be required for Twist Networks to request your numbers from your current carrier. An LOA will be provided to you electronically once your LNP order has been entered into our system.

The following information will be required for us to process your LNP request:

• Company name
• Complete service address
• Complete billing address
• Primary billing telephone number
• Type of service (business or residential)
• Partial port?
• List of numbers to port
